1. Before using the shelling machine, it is essential to perform a thorough inspection. Check that all fasteners are securely tightened, that rotating parts move smoothly, and that each bearing is properly lubricated. Ensure the machine is placed on a stable and level surface. For safety, make sure the motor's outer casing is correctly grounded by connecting it to a reliable grounding system.
2. Before powering the machine on, manually rotate the shelling machine several times to check for any unusual sounds or resistance. If you hear a knocking or grinding noise, stop immediately, identify the cause, and resolve the issue before proceeding with electricity.
3. Once the power is turned on, run the machine briefly and observe the rotor’s rotation direction. It should match the direction indicated on the equipment. Allow the machine to idle for a few minutes, listening for any abnormal noises. If everything runs smoothly and steadily, begin feeding peanuts into the hopper in a controlled, even, and continuous manner.
4. The moisture content of the peanuts plays a crucial role in the shelling process. Peanuts that are too dry may result in a high breakage rate, while those that are too wet can slow down the shelling process. In winter, when peanuts stored in rural areas tend to be very dry, you can improve their moisture level by evenly sprinkling 15 kg of warm water over 100 kg of peanuts, covering them with plastic film for about 10 hours, and then drying them in the sun. This method usually takes about an hour to start shelling. In other seasons, the same process can be done with a shorter duration of about 6 hours. The rest of the procedure remains the same.
5. When feeding peanuts into the machine, ensure they are added evenly and in moderate amounts. Never allow foreign objects such as metal or stones to enter, as they can damage the peanuts or cause mechanical failures. When the peanuts cover the screen, you may open the outlet switch to begin the separation process.
6. Choose the appropriate sieve size based on the size of the peanuts to ensure efficient shelling and separation.
7. To increase the shelling efficiency, adjust the motor position downward to tighten the fan belt, which will help increase the rotational speed and improve performance.
8. After use, clean the machine thoroughly by removing dust, dirt, and debris from all internal surfaces. Use diesel oil to clean the bearings and apply grease after drying. Repaint any exposed metal parts once the paint is dry. Store the machine in a dry warehouse, and remove the belt, hanging it on a shaded interior wall to avoid direct sunlight exposure.
Pellet ovens, as an efficient, environmentally friendly and versatile cooking equipment, have gained widespread popularity in outdoor barbecue, home cooking and even commercial kitchens in recent years. It cleverly uses biomass pellets as fuel, often pressed from wood, crop residues or other renewable resources, which not only burn efficiently, but also produce far less smoke and harmful gases during combustion than traditional charcoal or coal, realizing the concept of green cooking.
