4. Fresh green grass can be an excellent supplement, but it's important not to exceed 12 kilograms per cow per day. Overfeeding may lead to digestive issues or reduced milk quality.
5. Rapeseed cake and cottonseed meal are common protein sources in dairy cow diets. However, they should not make up more than 10% of the total feed to avoid potential health problems.
6. Concentrate feed plays a key role in increasing milk yield. The general ratio is 2.5 to 3 kilograms of concentrate feed for every 1 kilogram of milk produced. However, no matter the milk yield, the maximum daily amount of concentrate should not exceed 12 kilograms.
