Hey there, lovely readers!
It's funny how life works sometimes—just as spring starts showing its colors here in Florida, I hear stories of snow flurries still swirling in other places, and I reminisce about the rainy April showers back in my hometown of Michigan. But enough about weather patterns! What’s really on my mind lately? This whole pregnancy thing is getting real. I’m now tiptoeing into my seventh month, and let me tell you, the heat is real. Like, *really* real. Gone are the days when I was constantly reaching for my cardigan; now, I'm the one kicking off blankets left and right, while my usually chill husband is hogging the covers. It’s quite the role reversal, to say the least!
With all this warmth—whether it'sæ¥è‡ª baking a little human in my belly or dealing with these unpredictable temperature swings between 70 and 80 degrees, spiking up to 90s—it’s time to get my hair ready for summer. Lately, my hair inspiration has been leaning toward simple yet stylish updos to keep my long locks off my neck and some DIY treatments to keep my mane looking shiny and healthy. Maybe you’ll find some ideas for your own spring/summer hair goals here too!
And if you're looking for an amazing DIY hair conditioning mask using ingredients you probably already have in your kitchen, don't miss out on this edition of KitchenWise, where Aliyah shares one of our favorite homemade treatments (besides our trusty coconut oil soak, of course).

Oh, and one last thing before I sign off—this pregnancy journey has made me realize just how much I rely on comfort foods. Whether it's a warm bowl of soup or a slice of gooey chocolate cake, food has become both a source of joy and a bit of a challenge. If you’re looking for some pregnancy-friendly recipes that are also super delicious, let me know! I’d love to share what I’ve discovered so far.
Until next time, stay cool (and stylish) this summer, and remember—you’re never too pregnant to enjoy life’s little pleasures. xo
