Foreign agricultural (agricultural) new technology

In recent years, various innovative agricultural and food technologies have emerged, offering practical solutions to long-standing challenges. One such breakthrough is the use of vegetable oils for odor control in livestock farms. According to research conducted by scientists from the U.S. Bureau of Agricultural Research, essential oils like peppermint and thyme can effectively reduce unpleasant smells. This study was commissioned by the U.S. Meat Animal Research Center with the aim of managing manure, reducing greenhouse gas emissions, and preventing the spread of harmful bacteria. In controlled experiments, adding a small amount of guaiacol and thyme oil per liter of feces significantly inhibited the production of volatile fatty acids responsible for bad odors. These oils, both derived from mint plants, are also commonly found in herbs like thyme. Another remarkable innovation is the amphibious agricultural tractor developed by a U.S. company on the West Coast. This vehicle features an aluminum alloy frame and plastic components, making it lightweight and durable. Its four wheels are designed with foam structures that minimize ground pressure, protecting crops during farming activities. When working in rice paddies, the tractor’s buoyant units can be deployed to lift the machine above water. This versatility allows it to operate in swamps, lakes, rivers, and even underwater, making it ideal for diverse terrains. In Japan, researchers at Koruji Tea Company have introduced a novel method of tea processing using pulsed lasers. By gently rubbing the leaves with laser technology, they enhance the quality of the final product. Tests showed that laser-treated tea powders had 2.1% higher solubility in water and up to 10.5% more soluble compounds, resulting in a richer and more intense flavor. Looking ahead, the health care flour market is gaining momentum due to its potential to address widespread nutritional deficiencies. Iron-enriched flour helps combat anemia and improves children's concentration and memory. Iodine-fortified flour supports cognitive development and prevents iodine-deficiency disorders. Zinc-enriched flour benefits both children and the elderly, enhancing brain function and delaying aging. Spirulina flour offers a powerful nutrient boost, equivalent to 1000 grams of vegetables in just one gram. Calcium-enriched flour is crucial for bone health across all age groups, helping prevent osteoporosis and rickets. Finally, the global trend in agriculture is moving toward greater mechanization and automation. Countries like the U.S. and Japan are leading the way by integrating advanced environmental control systems that regulate temperature, humidity, light, and CO₂ levels. Greenhouse operations now rely on automated processes for seeding, transplanting, harvesting, and packaging, increasing efficiency and sustainability.
