1. The purge method should be determined according to the requirements for the use of the valve pipe, the type of medium to be transported in the pipe, and the degree of soiling on the inner surface of the pipe. The purge sequence is generally carried out in the order of the main pipe, the branch pipe, and the drain pipe.
2. Pipe fittings that are not allowed to be purged in the valve piping system, such as throttle valves, instruments, filters, check valves, etc., should be temporarily removed and properly kept, temporarily connected with short pipes, and then refilled after being purged. on. Equipment and piping that are not allowed to be purged should be isolated from the purge system.
3. The medium used for purging should be selected according to the design requirements or according to the valve pipe use and construction conditions.
4. The purge pressure should generally not exceed the working pressure of the pipeline system, and should not be lower than 25% of the working pressure. The large pipeline should not be lower than 0.6mpa.
5. When purging, it is required to discharge clean water into the pipe. When purging with compressed air, ensure that the flow rate of the medium in the system is not less than 20m/s, and arrange white paper or white at the discharge port. If there is no trace of rust, dust and other dirt on the inside within 5min, it is qualified.
6. When purging, except for non-ferrous metals and non-metallic pipes, hammers are used to knock the pipe wall (stainless steel pipes should be used). Especially for welds, dead angles and pipe bottom parts should be beaten, but the pipe should not be damaged.
7. After the purge is qualified, the purge record should be carefully filled out, and be careful not to perform other operations that affect the cleaning of the pipe other than the required inspection and restoration work.
