Spring fish farming should be "five good"

When spring arrives, temperatures and water temperatures are rising, and it is a good season for fish farming. Spring fish farming is also the beginning of a year's aquaculture activities. Grasping the management of spring fish farming is of vital importance to ensure the smooth progress of aquaculture production throughout the year and to increase the overall efficiency of aquaculture. To sum up, the spring fish culture should be focused on "five good grasps":
First, do a good job of basic preparation. First of all, we must do a good job of material preparation, such as artificial propagation equipment, commonly used drugs, fish farming machinery and tools, and fertilizers and baits. The fishing grounds and fish farming households that cannot raise their own fry should also be selected as well so that the fry breeding units can be selected to buy back high quality fry as early as possible. At the same time, disinfection of fish ponds should be well done.
Second, do a good job in the release of fry and fingerlings. According to the local food and water conditions, determine the main breeding species. If there is rich grass, it is advisable to raise grass and squid. If the source of fertilizer is sufficient, it can be used to raise maggots, earthworms, white quail and tilapia. In regions where there are many snails and clams, green and squid can be cultivated. The amount of stocking depends on the conditions of the pond and the level of feeding and management. In general, intensive culture of fish ponds is 1,500 to 2,000 pigs per acre, and 500 to 1000 pigs per acre are stocked in intensive fish ponds. In order to increase the yield per unit area, multiple varieties and specifications shall be implemented. The rational mixed-breeding density of fish species requires the disinfection of fish before stocking.
Third, do a good job of broodstock cultivation. Spring is the key stage of gonad development in broodstock. Early brooding is very important. First of all, we must do a good job of water quality management. The brooding pond should be filled with water in a timely manner. After March, pupa and carp ponds should be filled once every 10-15 days; blue and grass ponds should be filled once every 2-3 days. Secondly, it is necessary to grasp the feeding of bait, and feed a certain amount of malt, soybean cake, etc. in the early stage to promote gonad development of the broodstock. In the middle and later stages, the grass carp should be fed with ryegrass and terrestrial grass; Feeding cakes, bran rice. At the same time, it is necessary to appropriately apply some human and animal feces, and herring are mainly fed with fresh snails and oysters.
Fourth, pay attention to fertilizer feeding. Fish species should be applied before the stocking basal fertilizer, 1 mu of manure 250-300 kg; when topdressing, the amount of early spring large and small, late spring should be less than the amount of time; keep the water was brown, reddish brown, transparency in about 30 cm.
Fifth, do a good job of prevention and treatment of fish diseases. The common fish diseases in spring are watery mildew, gill rot disease, and small melon worm disease. Fish disease should be based on early prevention. Every 1 month or so, 1 mg/L bleaching powder and 0.2-0.4 mg/L crystal trichlorfon should be splashed into the fish ponds. Found fish diseases, timely diagnosis, symptomatic treatment.
