Dianchi algae phase manual directional control technology passed acceptance

The research project on the “Research and Application Demonstration of Algae-Phase Artificial Directional Control Technology in Dianchi Lake,” hosted by the Fujian Provincial Institute of Freshwater Fisheries, was approved by experts.

Through systematic monitoring and analysis of plankton populations and physicochemical factors in the water environment of Dianchi Lake, the project team has initially grasped the correlation between algae facies and water quality regulation in Dianchi Lake, and the growth and quality of carp feeding; the first time the water quality was screened in Dianchi Lake. The closely-spaced dominant species of algae, and the directional expansion of the dominant species of algae; the systematic analysis of the relevant factors that affect the growth of dominant algae species and the competitive mechanism among dominant species of algae. The technology can effectively control the stability of Dianchi Lake water quality, reduce the occurrence of diseases and improve the quality of carp, which lays the foundation for further research on the healthy breeding mode of carp.
