China-Italy import and export trade grows rapidly from January to August this year

According to the latest statistics from Italy's National Bureau of Statistics, China-Italy import and export trade grew rapidly from January to August this year. Italy’s exports to China increased by 30.1% year-on-year, and imports from China increased by 32.4%. The growth rate ranked among the top trading partners in Italy. Among them, the growth rate of intentional exports to China in August was as high as 60.9%, while that from China increased by 87.2% compared to the same period of last year, with the growth rate ranking first among all major trading partners. Italian statistics also show that the trade imbalance between Italy and China for January-August was 11.613 billion euros.
