Small silkworm breeding should pay attention to temperature and humidity and air conditioning

The climatic environment that affects the growth and development of silkworms is mainly temperature, humidity, and air. In the appropriate temperature and humidity range, breeding of small silkworms at a higher temperature and humidity can increase the viability of silkworms and yield of silkworm cocoons. The resistance of silkworms to low temperature and dryness is weak, and the temperature during spring silkworms is low, so it is necessary to pay attention to supplementing temperature and moisture. Small silkworms generally do not require large airflows. However, if coal is used for direct heating, indoor air pollution is likely to occur, and it is necessary to enhance ventilation. Generally every day and night to open the door to change the air 2 to 3 times, each time 5 to 10 minutes of ventilation, usually before the mulberry. To prevent long-term exposure to light in the same direction, it is easy to cause silkworms to move due to phototaxis, resulting in different densities of silkworm eggs in silkworms, affecting the homogeneity of mulberry, and causing uneven development.
