The working condition of the fluorine-filled ball valve is harsh, not toxic and harmful chemicals, it is very corrosive, various types of acid or alkali or organic solvent. Improper use will cause economic losses and serious consequences. Proper use and maintenance of the valve can prolong the service life of the fluorine-lined valve, prevent all kinds of accidents and ensure the normal operation of the pipeline. Therefore, the following points must be noted during installation, repair and maintenance:
1. When the fluorine-lined valve is connected with the pipeline, the gasket is generally not used separately. However, when it is connected with the flange surface of the dissimilar material (metal surface, etc.), a suitable gasket should be used to protect the PTFE flange surface.
2, do not allow any high temperature welding work on the fluorine-lined valve to avoid permanent damage to the lining layer.
3, pneumatic lining fluorine ball valve in the system use, such as leakage at higher temperatures, should first reduce the system temperature to room temperature, then find out the cause and repair.
4, the fluorine-lined pneumatic ball valve flange cover can not be opened arbitrarily, unless it is ready to connect with the pipeline, the PTFE flange surface may be affected by temperature difference, foreign matter caused by scratches or distortion, and the seal is affected, such as moving the cover due to inspection needs The plate must also be re-reset at the speed of inspection to protect the PTFE flange face.
5. When manually operating the fluorine-lined valve, it is not allowed to force the valve to open and close by means of other levers.
6. When installing, the flange nuts should be evenly tightened in the diagonal direction (symmetric) and matched with appropriate torque:
1 If the flange sealing surface leaks and the nut in the leakage position is locked, the nut should be loosened halfway in the leakage position, and then the opposite side should be tightened again with the same torque.
2 If the above method still does not stop leaking, check whether the PTFE flange surface has uneven marks and scratches. At that time, use fine paper and cloth to level and reconnect.
7. After repair, the lining fluorine valve should be tested according to relevant standards before installation.
8. Fluorine-lined valves with directional requirements should be noted that the flow direction of the medium should be in the direction indicated by the arrow on the valve body during installation, and it is convenient to operate and maintain.
9. Fluorine-lined valves should be stored in a dry and ventilated room. Stacking is strictly prohibited.
10, the long-term storage of the fluorine-lined valve should be in a micro-separation state, so as to avoid permanent deformation of the sealing surface under long-term pressure, affecting the sealing performance and service life.
