Now, let’s take a closer look at four standout models: #IDFD, #FDSS, #FMT, and #FTC.
**Model #IDFD – Capturing Every Leak**
Model #IDFD is an indirect floor drain that’s often used as an indirect or dedicated drain. It’s equipped with standard weep holes and a clamping flange for a waterproof membrane, which helps capture all leaks and prevent damage to ceilings and floors.

Model #FMT is a flush-mounted floor trough that sits directly over the finished floor. It’s ideal for low-volume liquid waste removal areas in kitchens, such as under ice machines, beverage tables, pot sinks, or walk-in refrigerators. Installation is straightforward—just connect the trough waste outlet through a cored hole to the plumber’s waste pipe.
Constructed from 16-gauge type 300 series stainless steel, this model has a depth of 1¼ inches. It comes standard with a beehive strainer and a 4-inch OD tailpiece for up to 3-inch waste. Here’s how it looks:
**Model #FTC – The True Stainless Steel Corner Floor Trough**
Last but not least, Model #FTC is IMC’s latest innovation—a true stainless steel corner floor trough. In commercial settings, floor space is always at a premium, making corner equipment a great option. Dead corner spaces can accumulate excess liquids, and a corner floor trough offers the perfect solution.
Model #FTC is the first ever stainless steel corner floor trough, crafted from 16-gauge type 300 series stainless steel and measuring 4 inches deep.
