Mung bean cultivation

Cultivated varieties: The new mungbean variety--Elu 2# Hubei Green 2 Institute of Agricultural Modernization Research Institute of Hubei Academy of Agricultural Sciences, was selected from the VC2778A system and developed a new high-quality mung bean variety. Hubei Green No. 2 in the provincial trial, the average yield of 145.2kg per mu, ranking first in the test varieties, an increase of 37.09% than the Hubei Green 1, reached a very significant level. The species is erect, with a plant height of about 77cm, stout stems, resistance to fertilizer and lodging, and a growth period of 87 days. It is a medium-maturing species. Drought resistance is strong, early stage resistance is medium; high resistance to leaf spot, blight, powdery mildew are light. The base of the young stem is green, with many branches, green leaves, and high yield of green barley, suitable for both grain and fertilizer. Plants in the upper crust, no cracking, favorable harvest. Black cockroach, cockroach length 10-11cmm, single-bamboo 12-grain, 1000-grain weight 65g or so. No hard solid grains, easy to cook, dry cooking, rice porridge and rice at the same time pot, good taste. The grain is bright green, and the quality of the product is excellent. It is the highest value product of mung bean in China. It is loved by domestic consumers and is the most expensive variety in foreign trade. Hubei Green 2 has been promoted to more than 15 million mu in the mung bean producing areas in 23 provinces, municipalities and autonomous regions across the country. It has added a total output of 170,000 tons, and added 345 million yuan of output value. It has been used for the first time for the replacement of mung bean varieties in China. The major role is now the major export commodities in Shanxi and other provinces. The new mung bean variety--Elu 3, Hubei Green 3, is a new mung bean variety selected from the VC1562A system by the Agricultural Modernization Institute of Hubei Academy of Agricultural Sciences. Hubei Green No. 3 in the provincial district trial, the average yield of 116.2kg per mu, which is 9.34% higher than Hubei Green No. 2 and 10.37% higher than Zhonglu No.1, both reaching extremely significant levels. The variety is erect, compact in plant type, 54.6cm in plant height, stout sturdy, resistant to lodging and lodging, and growing period 77 days, 8 days earlier than Hubei Green 2; 4 days earlier than Mungbean. The leaves were green, black, and larvae were 10.6cm long, 22.6 were single-seeded, 11.2 seeds were single-seeded, 66.8g thousand-grain weight, 13.8g per plant, and the middle and upper parts of the plant were concentrated. Batch harvesting can reach 50% without cracking, which is beneficial to harvesting. Fever grade 0, leaf spot disease was mild, and drought resistance was moderate. Grain protein content was 23.05%, starch content was 53.91%, grain was green, and the light was bright green. The quality of the product was excellent. Hubei Green 3 has been promoted to more than 1,000 mu in Xiangfan City, and the highest yield in Zaoyang has been 293.6 kg. After being tested in various regions, it can be promoted in various regions in China.
