The effect of oxazole-foxazole in controlling botrytis cinerea

Chemical control is an important measure to control Botrytis cinerea, but in recent years, Botrytis cinerea has gradually developed resistance to commonly used drugs such as thiophanate-methyl and procymidone. According to data, pyriconazole has preventive, therapeutic and systemic absorption properties, and can effectively inhibit the growth of mycelial growth, spore germination, and germ tube elongation of Botrytis cinerea, with conventional fungicides thiophanate-methyl and procymidone. Different mechanisms of action, there is no cross-resistance. In the year of 2009, the agricultural department of Wujiang City carried out a field efficacy test for the control of Botrytis cinerea with 25% zirapconazole EC, and achieved good results.

The experiment was carried out in a tomato greenhouse. The test agents were 25% pyridine, 50% procymidone wettable powder and 70% thiophanate-methyl wettable powder, of which 25% were 750 times 1000 times liquid, 1500 times liquid 3 different concentrations, 50% procymidone wettable powder and 70% thiophanate-methyl wettable powder were set up 1000 times liquid. During the fruiting period of tomato flowering, spraying 60 kg per mu, once every 7 days, spraying 3 times in 2009 and spraying 4 times in 2010.

The test data showed that 25% of zicilazolin EC had good control effect on tomato gray mould, of which the control effect with 750 times solution was the highest, the control effect for two years was 94.7% and 94.4%, respectively; 1000 times solution followed, The two-year control efficacy was 89.5% and 87.5%, respectively, which were significantly better than 50% procymidone WP and 70% thiophanate-methyl WP (two years of control efficacy were 79.7% and 82.1%, respectively). And 69.5%, 70.2%); 25% of zirconia EC 1500 times solution control efficacy for two years were 83.3% and 78.5%, and 50% of procymidone WP 1000 times the control effect is better than 70% thiophanate-methyl WP 1000 times.

The test results show that the control effect of 25% zizomazole EC on Botrytis cinerea is significantly better than that of 50% procymidone wettable powder and 70% thiophanate-methyl wettable powder. It is recommended to use 750-1000 times liquid (per Mu 60 to 100 milliliters of medication, when the onset is severe, the amount of medication can be increased. Spraying is used to control the initial onset of gray mold. Once every 7 days, continuous control is 3 to 4 times. In order to delay the development of pathogen resistance, it is necessary to use the drug alternately with other fungicides.
