Increasing the topdressing lime during the flowering period can greatly reduce empty grains and increase fruit filling rate. Scientific research shows that in addition to the absorption of water and minerals, calcium in the crusted areas of peanuts is mainly absorbed by the velvet on the tip of the fruit and on the surface of the pods, and the critical period for calcium development is required for fruit development at 15 to 25 days.
