Key technologies for stocking herbivorous fish

With the development of aquaculture and the improvement of intensive culture, the demand for fish feed has also increased. As a result, the prices of commonly used feed ingredients such as rapeseed cakes, cotton cakes, bean cakes, and bran, and fish feeds continue to increase. At present, the output of the aquaculture industry continues to increase, but its comparative benefits have decreased. In order to improve aquaculture efficiency, we must seek a breakthrough in reducing costs. At present, the most important thing is to adjust the structure of farmed species, implement grass-breeding fish farming, fish farming, fish farming, and adopting a grain-saving fish breeding method with Qingdaijing to actively develop herbivorous fish farming. There are three key technologies for stocking herbivorous fish:
(a) Change the stocking mode. When deciding on the polyculture structure of fish culture, a stocking mode based on the stocking of herbivorous fish such as grass carp, clams, and breams should be selected. Its herbivorous fish stocks can account for more than 50% of the total fish species, and they can mix about 35% of filter-feeding fish such as cockroaches and clams, and about 15% of omnivorous fish such as cockroaches and clams. In this way, green feed can be used to directly feed herbivorous fish. The baits, plant debris, and humus that they feed can also provide bait for omnivorous fish. The fecal water and reproduction plankton of these fish are also filtered. Dietary fish provides a rich source of natural food. This mode of stocking played a complementary role among the organisms, maintaining a virtuous cycle of fish pond ecology, and helping to reduce costs, increase production, and increase productivity.
(B) to solve the source of feed. One is to use labor force to cut grass and catch aquatic grass to feed fish. All kinds of terrestrial grasses, grasses, weeds such as rice, wheat, and cash crops, and weeds such as black-leaf algae, bitter grass, duckweed, etc., are high-quality green feed for fish and can be collected using surplus labor. The second is the rational use of "Sanshui." Water peanuts, water hyacinths, and water lettuces, although the fish do not like to eat directly, but the nutritional value is higher, can be collected or used shallow ponds for planting, feeding the fish after beating and fermentation. The third is grass-fish farming. The use of fodder land, fish pond slopes and shrubs, planting high yield and quality green feed, spring planting varieties are ryegrass, winter grazing 70, bitter leeks, summer sudan grass, hybrid pennisetum, white clover, String herb, Russian cuisine, etc.
(c) Strengthen fish disease prevention. Herbivorous fish, especially grass carp, have fast growth and good meat quality, but their greatest weakness is their vulnerability to disease. Therefore, under the conditions of raising grass carp, we must strive to prevent fish diseases and control the epidemic. Especially during the period from June to September when fish diseases are prone to development, we must implement the principle of “disease-free prevention, early disease prevention, and prevention-based treatment”. The main diseases of grass carp are Chinese oyster disease, anchor head plague, hemorrhagic disease, gill rot, red dermatosis, enteritis, etc. The fish disease prevention and treatment program should be used for prevention and treatment, and the occurrence and spread of fish diseases should be strictly controlled to ensure the culture. Fish grow safely.
