Research on the development of medicinal cartoning machine

In general, pharmaceutical manufacturers are inseparable from the process of drug packaging. Drug packaging is an indispensable process for drugs to enter the market. The medicinal cartoning machine is the machine to realize this process, and it is also free of manual packaging and Equipment that improves packaging efficiency. Domestic medicinal cartoning machine has a history of more than 30 years, but compared with other pharmaceutical equipment, the development is quite slow, although the domestic medicinal cartoning machine has made great progress in recent years, but the substantive promotion and application and technological development Still not satisfactory, there are many reasons for this situation. In this regard, both medicinal carton makers and pharmaceutical users should strengthen research.

1 basic concept of medicinal cartoning machine

1.1 Definition of medicinal cartoning machine

In the forthcoming "Pharmaceutical Machinery Terminology" (GB/T15692) standard, the cartoning machine is defined as: can complete the opening of the box, insert the instruction manual, and pack and seal the pharmaceutical packaging of bottles, blister boards, hoses, etc. Box of machinery. And it is arranged in the drug packaging packaging machinery (8.2), and in the packaging machinery composition, the manual folding machine, multi-function paper folding machine, continuous tongue cartoning machine, intermittent tongue loading Box machine, continuous paste paste cartoning machine and intermittent paste paste cartoning machine small items.

1.2 The special significance of the medicinal cartoning machine

The medicinal cartoning machine is different from other cartoning machines and has its particularity. According to the provisions of the "Pharmaceutical GMP Certification Inspection and Evaluation Standards" 4603, the packaging of pharmaceuticals printed with the same contents as the label shall be managed according to the label. In other words, the management of the drug packaging box is equivalent to the label. The particularity of the medicinal cartoning machine is also extended based on the particularity of the drug packaging box.

Compared with other cartoning machines, the medicinal cartoning machine has special points: (1) need to insert the drug instruction manual; (2) the carton should be randomly printed with the production date, product batch number, expiration date, etc. (such as the supervision code of special drugs); (3) Counting statistics of the boxing (should comply with the counting and issuing requirements of the “Good GMP Certification Inspection and Evaluation Standards” 4703); (4) Check the quality of the inner packaging drugs; (5) Adapt to the requirements of batch/time. For other purpose cartoners, these special points do not need to be fully achieved.

1.3 Form and classification of medicinal cartoning machine

1.3.1 Form of medicinal cartoning machine

(1) According to the way the packaged material enters the carton, it can be divided into horizontal and vertical. Among them, the model in which the package is pushed horizontally into the paper cassette is called a horizontal type, and the model in which the package is vertically inserted into the paper cassette is called a vertical type. Currently in the horizontal style.

(2) According to the Zui final carton sealing form, it can be divided into tongue type, adhesive type, hybrid type, labeling, unfolding type, self-locking type and so on.

(3) According to the shape of the packaged object, it can be divided into a plate shape (such as a blister package), a bottle shape, a hose shape, a profile shape, and the like.

(4) According to the specifications of the packaged goods, it can be divided into single piece, double piece, multiple pieces, and combined parts (such as 1 antibiotic bottle powder needle + 1 ampule needle).

1.3.2 Classification of medicinal cartoning machines

In the past, some professionals classified the speed of the cartoning machine. The cartoning speed was 60-80 boxes/min for the medium-low speed type, 80-120 boxes/min for the medium-high speed type, and more than 150 boxes/min for the high-speed type. This classification is based on the technical level around 2000. With the continuous improvement of the manufacturing and control technology level, the high speed of the packaging speed of 500-600 boxes/min has appeared in the world. Obviously, the past division criteria can no longer be adapted, and it is necessary to reclassify. Under the premise of taking into account the national conditions and the international advanced level, the author thinks that the following classification is more suitable: (1) the boxing speed is 60-120 boxes/min for the medium-low speed type; (2) 150-180 boxes/min for the medium-high speed type; (3) 200 to 300 boxes/min for high speed type; (4) for more than 350 boxes/min for ultra high speed type.

Among them: 60-80 boxes/min cartoning machine is mainly cam mechanism, its advantages are compact structure, small size, strong adaptability and convenient and affordable. The disadvantages are that the adjustment is not easy and the speed is low; 80-120 boxes/min cartoning machine The mechanical-cam mechanism is mainly used, which has the advantages of relatively stable operation, convenient adjustment and wide application fields. The disadvantage is that the rotary carton forming and unwinding mechanism cannot adapt to the change of speed; the 150-200 box/min cartoning machine works continuously in machinery. The main mechanism is high speed. The disadvantage is that it is highly targeted and demanding for packaging materials. The 280-300 boxes/min cartoning machine is mainly based on advanced control technologies such as machinery and servo.
Generally speaking, the 60-120 boxes/min cartoning machine is of the intermittent type, and the 150-200 boxes/min medicinal cartoning machine is of continuous working type. Now, the two are compared, as shown in Table 1.

1.4 The role of medicinal cartoning machine in the production line of pharmaceutical packaging

The post-pharmaceutical packaging refers to the finished packaging after the clean area. The main components and processes of the pharmaceutical packaging production line in the modern pharmaceutical industry are shown in Figure 1.

The main equipment of the pharmaceutical packaging production line consists of a cartoning machine, a pillow-shaped packaging machine, a heat shrink packaging line, a packing machine, a sealing machine, a coding machine and a baler. Auxiliary devices such as indexing or connecting conveyor belt devices, intermediate processing devices, and detection control devices. It can be said that the cartoning machine is the basis of the whole line, and it is also necessary to realize the production of modern pharmaceutical packaging.

2 Summary of the development process of medicinal cartoning machine

2.1 Domestic and foreign medicinal cartoning machine manufacturing development process

The medicinal cartoning machine (bottomed as a cartoning machine) was developed on the basis of other cartoning machines. The manufacture of the zui early cartoning machine originated in Europe in the 1950s. It was only in the 1960s that China had the prototype of the cartoning machine. It was not until the 1970s that the Shanghai Toothpaste Factory introduced the Nording Company's cartoning machine. It was manufactured by Shanghai Light Industry Design Institute and Shanghai Yihua Machine Factory. The first automatic cartoning machine in China was released. Also in the same period, Shanghai Yanan Pharmaceutical Factory also copied a semi-automatic cartoning machine for pharmaceutical packaging. Afterwards, with the changes of the times and reform and opening up, the domestic cartoning machine has undergone earth-shaking changes. The cartoning machine has also been professionally manufactured from Shanghai Yihuaji, Beijing Shuanghe and Shanghai Longteng in the 1980s and 1990s. The company has grown to more than 30 manufacturers including Zhejiang Shenglei and Shanghai New Gude, and there are more than 60 non-professional manufacturing carton manufacturers. The cartoning machine has only adapted to the ointment tubular and plate shape. The inner packaging has been developed into a diversified package that can adapt to soft inner bags such as soft bags and antibiotic bottles; from the original boxing speed of 60 boxes/min to the current boxing speed of 300-400 boxes/min.

Compared with typical manufacturers, foreign cartoning machines include Germany IWKA, Sweden Nordon, Italy CAM, and American Romaco. From the perspective of these foreign manufacturers: (1) According to the 2005 survey data, the price is higher. The price of the 100 series products of the German IWKA company is about 1.6 million yuan, and the speed of the Swedish Nordon company is 130 boxes/min, about 1.4 million yuan. CAM speed 130 boxes / min product about 1.5 million yuan; (2) a few years ago, the foreign machine shape is long and large, the length of 4 m or more, only the Italian CAM company's fully automatic cartoning machine body is shorter, captain Only 2.2 m; (3) From the past year, the foreign cartoning machine has changed a lot, and its cartoning speed has reached 500-600 boxes/min. For example, the high-speed CAM KO cartoning machine launched by CAM in Italy is positioned in medicine. Or candy blister packaging application, generally can complete more than 600 blister boxing work per minute, is a continuous action mechanical drive equipment, which also designed a roller in the center of the machine, the drum rotates in the vertical plane, driving The product and the carton pusher operate in its entirety.

Compared with the advanced level of similar foreign products, especially compared with Italian and German products, the technology of Chinese cartoning machines is different for 10 years, both in terms of speed, manufacturing precision, form of inclusions, and control technology. gap. However, due to the improvement of domestic control technology, the gap between China's cartoning machines and the international advanced level has gradually shortened and qualitative changes have taken place. Judging from the number of domestic nearly 100 box-packing machine manufacturers, China's cartoning machine is undoubtedly the world's largest producer. The author estimates that by 2016, China's cartoning machines can basically reach the international advanced level. Due to the large number of domestic related production units, its development momentum far exceeds that of any country in the world, and its potential initiative is great.

2.2 The pharmaceutical application process of domestic medicinal cartoning machine

China's early pharmaceutical packaging production process relied mainly on manual work. With the development of production and technological advancement, especially the promotion of mechanical cartons in China, the application of cartoning machines was promoted. Zui's early application of the domestic cartoning machine may be the pharmaceutical factory that produced ointment in the late 1970s. Similarly, in the mid-1970s, Tianjin Lisheng Pharmaceutical Factory and Shanghai Xinyi Pharmaceutical Factory once imported the automatic cartoning machine produced by the Italian “Ima” company, but due to the quality of the packaging materials and the processing of the pillbox in China at that time. Levels and the like do not meet the requirements of machine packaging, making the cartoning machine unable to use properly. After entering the 1980s, China's pharmaceutical production technology has achieved rapid development. The production technology and quality of the mechanism carton have made significant progress. The cartoning machine has begun to be applied in the pharmaceutical industry. This fashion box machine has also changed. Foreign products dominate the world. In addition, in addition to the cartoning machine for ointment, the application of the blister-like domestic cartoning machine began in the 1990s, and some large-volume pharmaceutical companies began to use domestic cartoning machines instead of manual packaging. Some related pharmaceutical companies in China are also constantly developing and producing more comprehensive cartoning machines, such as the plaster patch-packing production line produced by Zhejiang Shenglei Company.

3 Several problems faced in the development of domestic medicinal cartoning machines

3.1 The cost of the medicine package material and the contradiction between the requirements of the medicinal cartoning machine and the carton

With the increase of drug price reduction in China in recent years and the intensification of competition in the pharmaceutical market, pharmaceutical companies are paying more attention to production costs. In all aspects of reducing drug costs, the cost of carton as a medium package has received much attention, even one If the paper box can save 0.05 yuan, it can save a considerable amount of money for the cost of mass production. If the manual boxing operation is adopted, the quality of the carton is relatively low, and the size thereof is relatively compact, and at least 0.01 to 0.02 yuan is omitted for one carton. However, once the cartoner is used, higher requirements are placed on the carton and the manual, and the carton size is larger than the manual carton.

3.1.1 Carton and manual requirements for cartoning machine production

In the "Multifunctional Cartoning Machine" standard (JB/T10640-2006) 4.2.2.1, the paper requirements for the carton and manual used in the cartoning machine shall comply with Table 2.

3.1.2 Tray size requirements when using the cartoning machine

In general, the size of the carton is considered to be cost-effective, that is, the smaller the size, the more compact the better. In the manual packaging process, people's smart hands can put almost any product into the box, and the size of the carton is small. However, when using the cartoner, consider the tolerances of the carton and the product. In order to smoothly insert the inner bag into the box, the inner size of the carton and the inner bag should have a large interference fit, especially when a plurality of inner wraps (blister plate plus instructions, oral liquid plus straw, etc.) are simultaneously inserted into the box. The instructions are usually "topped" into the carton together with the contents, so that the U-shape in the box may not be equal in length at both ends, so a large margin is considered in the length of the carton. For the same reason, the thickness of the manual takes up space and the height of the carton also leaves room. The usual experience can be to refer to the dimensions of Table 3 to design the size of the carton.

3.1.3 The contradiction between the reduction of the cost of the carton and the reduction of the production cost after using the cartoning machine

The contradiction between the reduction of the cost of the carton and the reduction of the production cost after the cartoning machine depends on the coordination and consideration of both the manufacturer and the user. First of all, the users of the pharmaceutical factory often only see the increase in the cost of each carton in front of the eyes, and do not comprehensively consider the cost of reducing the labor after using the cartoning machine; secondly, the cartoning machine is produced due to the manufacturing precision of the device or Some technical difficulties have not been fundamentally solved, and there are special requirements for the quality and size of the carton. This also requires the manufacturer to spend more energy to improve, and even think that the quality of the carton drops by 10 g/m2.

3.2 The actual productivity and qualification rate of medicinal cartoning machines hinder the application of domestically produced machines

3.2.1 Actual productivity of medicinal cartoners

Now we analyze the products of an old brand cartoning machine factory in Shanghai. The model is the imitation of Swedish Nordon Company. The nominal speed of the product is 120 boxes/min (max), but the normal operating rate can only be 80 boxes/min. And then analyze a car boxing machine with a speed of 180 boxes/min (max) in Shanghai, and the actual running capacity is only 130 boxes/min. The data surveys listed indirectly reflect poor production stability, both for the machine itself and for the quality of the mechanism carton.

3.2.2 Qualification rate of medicinal cartoning machine

According to the standard (JB/T10640-2006) 6.4, the boxing pass rate is sub-sampled, and 100 pieces are continuously extracted each time.笫 Once is to visually check the appearance of the box, the package is damaged is a non-conforming product; 笫 second is to check the qualified products, the inner packaging materials are damaged, less loaded and missing are non-conforming products. The packing yield rate is calculated by the sum of the second non-conforming products, and the packing yield rate is not less than 98%.

For the pass rate of 98%, this indicator is not what the pharmaceutical company hopes, and its index is slightly lower. In the case of a cartoning machine with an actual production speed of 150 boxes/min, the number of unqualified boxes per shift is 1,440, and these unqualified boxes also need one person/class to handle, and both To remove the box and reload it, you have to waste the paper tray. Compared with manual packaging, the pass rate of 98% of the cartoning machines is slightly inferior.

3.2.3 Improving the actual productivity and pass rate of the medicinal cartoning machine is the premise of the application of the pharmaceutical factory

Through the above analysis of the actual productivity and yield of the cartoning machine, we see the responsibility of the cartoning machine manufacturer and the box making factory. Although the quality of these two years is constantly improving, it is still far from reaching the pharmaceutical factory. User expectations. There has to be a problem here, namely the quality of the box. If the quality of the domestic mechanism box is not good, even if you use the good imported cartoning machine, it will not help. Judging from the data currently available, foreign cartoning machines are eating "fine feed", while domestically produced machines have slightly better compatibility with carton.

3.3 The limitations of the medicinal cartoning machine on the contents of the goods hinder its popularization

According to the author's research on the cartoning machine for many years, the technical difficulty of the small size, soft traits (such as plaster patch) and several inner packaging composite boxes in the cartoning machine is high. However, the current status of the production of most cartoning machines in China is only adapted to the single and limited size of the inclusions. The requirements for packaging in the standard (JB/T10640-2006) 4.2.2.2 are shown in Table 4.

(1) In the case of the ointment tube packing operation, the inner package tubular specification can only be used in the range of 16~32 mm, and generally less than the 16 mm specification, it cannot operate normally. For example, the production speed of a company's cartoning machine is 50-100 boxes/min. Although the inner packaging specification is applicable to 13~35 mm, when it is used for the inner packaging specification of 13 mm, its speed can only be 50 boxes. /min. When it is lower than the 13 mm specification, it cannot be packed. This is because the too small instructions are difficult to center when pushed into the paper tray together with the hose, causing a "broken box".

(2) The contents of the general cartoning machine can only be adapted to hard articles. When encountering soft objects such as granule soft bags and plaster patches, the cartoning machine cannot be packed. But the good news is that some manufacturers in China can now manufacture cartoning machines that are similar to soft hulls. At the same time, the special nature of the soft traits determines that the speed can not be too fast, which is also necessary to tackle the problem.

(3) In addition to the instructions, the cartoning machine is generally only suitable for the packing of single-packages, but this type of cartoning is far from meeting the needs of diversification of modern pharmaceutical production, although there are now a few manufacturers compounding different varieties. Packaging has been responded to and succeeded. However, there are only a handful of such cartoners that can be produced in China.

3.4 Quality problems of domestic medicinal cartoning machines

The cartoning machine is a classic machine in the packaging machinery. Many of its actuators are exquisite mechanical actions. If there are quality problems in the four aspects of manufacturing, design, assembly and configuration of the machine, the machine will be unstable.

(1) Manufacturing quality. In a sense, the cartoning machine is a complex machine, which includes machine, electricity, gas, light and other technologies. It is “fine grain” from the process of execution. The current overall processing level of the pharmaceutical equipment industry is still in the 1970s, and it is difficult to process high-precision parts. The usual manufacturing techniques will accumulate assembly errors, cause implementation errors, and make such equipment operate at high speeds. The instability and the rejection rate are too high.

(2) Design quality. In the past few years, the research and development of the cartoning machine has remained at the stage of mapping and imitation. It has not yet reached the level of rational research of key institutions. The original error of mapping may not reflect the “stability” of the movement at low speed. There will be "unstable" inconsistencies between operating agencies. These situations reflect the difference between the domestic cartoning machine and the imported products. The key to solving the problem is the theoretical secondary design.

(3) Assembly quality. There are many adjustable structures in the cartoning machine. Whether the manual debugging is reasonable or not is another key to the success of the cartoning machine. At present, the level of commissioning technicians in the pharmaceutical equipment industry is difficult to compare with other industries, and there are very few people who have the qualifications of technicians. From a certain point of view, no matter how good the design, if there is no good assembly and debugging, the cartoning machine can only succeed half.

(4) Configuration quality, the operation synchronization and detection control of modern cartoning machines are all dependent on control components such as electricity, gas and light. The quality of control components determines the accuracy of control, and different configurations will present a different kind of difference. "The situation." The configuration uses high-quality, stable operation, high positioning accuracy servo motor or stepper motor drive, and the use of advanced, reliable sensor, encoder, motor three-in-one servo drive, which is very different from the general configuration. of.

4 Feasibility of the development of domestic medicinal cartoning machine

4.1 Comparing the feasibility of the bottling machine box and the manual box

Table 5 compares the traditional manual cartoning with the cartoning machine. From the above, the advantages of the cartoning machine can be seen, and the feasibility of the cartoning machine development is also confirmed. The cartoning machine has the characteristics of low labor intensity, simple operation and high operating efficiency, especially in accordance with the requirements of GMP (98) Article 68 “Batch No.”. With the gradual integration with the international market after China's accession to the WTO, as well as the increase in labor rates in the pharmaceutical production field and the reduction of production costs, the use of drug packaging for the cartoning machine will be more extensive.

4.2 Economic feasibility of the development of medicinal cartoning machine

The speed of traditional hand-packed small box packaging is 50-60/min (data from a pharmaceutical factory in Shanghai). It usually takes 4 people/class to complete (including folding manual and batch number printing). If the production speed is 120/ Min as an example, plus 1 person to assist, the small box work needs 9 people / class to complete, to 2 (shift / day), the production cost of a year of ointment loading small box is shown in Table 6 (where the equipment is 10 Depreciation for the year, the building is depreciated for 20 years, working days are 250 days/year, 8 hours/shift).

If the domestic cartoning machine is configured for production, the 150-car/min (max) model cartoning machine is used for analysis, and the carton production requirement is 120 pieces/min. For example, it only needs 1 person/shift, and it is included in the auxiliary. 1 person/class, 2 classes/day. The production and operation costs of the post-package of the ointment are shown in Table 7 (the equipment is depreciated for 10 years, the building is depreciated for 20 years, and the working day is 250 days/year, 8 h/shift).

It can be seen from Table 6 and Table 7 that the difference between the annual production cost of the traditional hand-packed small box of the ointment and the box-loading machine is 52.079-23.524=285.55 million/year. In this way, if the ointment product is packed in a small box using a cartoning machine, the cost saved can be recovered within about 2.5 years. (Note: The price of the 650,000/set specification listed in Table 7 is high, now The domestic machine may still be low, so that the investment time for recovering the equipment is shorter.) The cost of other dosage forms can also be estimated according to this method, and the results are roughly the same.

Therefore, the economic analysis of the cartoning machine also shows that it has a broad potential market. For the domestic drug packaging, if the cartoning machine is not used, it may cause unfavorable conditions such as high production cost and labor intensity of the drug packaging. Some people have counted the average cost of the cartoning process of a box of drugs. %~6% or so. Therefore, the cartoning machine is an industry with great development potential. With the improvement of social productivity, this equipment will be more and more valued by people.
4.3 The feasibility of its promotion from the status quo of the downstream industry of medicinal cartoning machine

There are more than 5,000 chemical pharmaceutical and Chinese medicine pharmaceutical factories in China, more than 1,000 animal medicine factories, and more than 1,000 health products production factories. Among them, there are more than 300 ointment manufacturers, involving bottles and plates. Pharmaceutical plants such as pharmaceutical packaging account for more than 70% of the total. It can be roughly calculated that as the number of downstream manufacturers of cartoning machines is about 5,500, there are now more than 1,800 manufacturers of actual cartoning machines (estimated), and 2/3 of the domestic pharmaceutical factories are still in the box. At the operational level. In 1998, the large-scale GMP transformation, the first phase of pharmaceutical manufacturers' transformation was limited to purification, preparation equipment, etc. Most enterprises have not carried out the transformation of the pharmaceutical packaging production process. Some pharmaceutical companies have passed these 10 years of efforts and funds. Reserves, for those pharmaceutical companies that have achieved good returns in the past few years, they are now basically equipped with the conditions for the production and transformation of pharmaceutical packaging. It can be optimistic to estimate that in the next few years, the domestic cartoning machine will have a market share of about 200 to 300 units per year. The key lies in how manufacturers can respond to the positioning, manufacturing, quality and adaptability of products as soon as possible.

From this point of view, the high-tech, high-quality, high-speed cartoning machine is a potential development area, which can be called the highlight of the pharmaceutical industry since the GMP transformation, has a broad market prospect, and it can also enter the pharmaceutical industry. Markets outside the industry, such as food, daily chemicals, pigments, etc. At the same time, the cartoning machine will achieve a new trend in the manufacture and sale of diversified derivatives and post-packaging lines.

5 Trends in the development of medicinal cartoning machines

Modern pharmaceutical production, GMP and packaging processes require the cartoning machine to be a product that integrates machine, electricity and gas. It consists of a folding specification mechanism and a carton packaging mechanism (carton forming, pushing in articles and instructions). Two parts. Among them, the folding of the manual can be completed automatically, the manual is sucked in a certain range and folded many times, and the folded manual moves on the special mechanism. When the monitoring mechanism receives the signal, it is sent to the suction tray, and the movement of the paper box touches the signal, and Control the implementation of the push-in action of the contents. Pushing the contents into the tray, the tray continues to move to seal the front and back, and walk out of the carton to complete the entire process. The carton lot number printing device has a batch number for each item packed to ensure the accuracy of the lot number. The whole machine is completed under the control of the program, without intermediate order, there will be no batch number confusion and manual insertion. At the same time, the dynamic display of each process can directly record the output.
On the basis of this requirement, the author talks about the development trend of the cartoning machine through several examples.

5.1 Pay attention to detailed development to develop medicinal cartoning machine

5.1.1 Structured development

The structure of the cartoning machine is refined and the quality of the product determines the fate of the product. The detailed development of the structure of a superior cartoning machine will greatly improve the level and quality of the product. Here are two examples of the refined structure of Shanghai New Gude:

(1) Patent application for feeding device for medicine bottle cartoning machine (CN03210461.8). The utility model is characterized in that: a guide plate is arranged on the pallet, a guide strip is arranged on the pallet and the conveyor belt, and a support seat is arranged on the guide rail, and the push rod is connected with the support base. The refinement structure changes the deficiencies of the existing cartoning machine only the charging plate (capsule), expands the function of the cartoning machine, greatly improves the use efficiency of the device, and changes the small package of the drug in the pill bottle. The history of tooling boxes has increased productivity and productivity and packaging quality while reducing production costs.

(2) A retractable cassette board (CN03210462.6) for an automatic cartoning machine. The utility model is characterized in that: the feeding box is provided with an adjusting cap, and the adjusting cap is provided with a plurality of grooves. In use, the adjustment of the adjusting cap changes the width of the fixing groove between the convex blocks on the box plate. When replacing the medicine boxes of different widths, there is no need to replace any parts, and there is no need to disassemble any parts, and only a slight adjustment is needed. Yes, this greatly facilitates the user and makes a multi-purpose machine. The automatic cartoning process of the cartridge of any size from 35 to 85 mm can be completed on one cartoning machine.

5.1.2 “Detailed” design cartoning machine from the perspective of quality control

Here, insert the example of the CAM company PMM type cartoning machine used by Tasly. CAM's philosophy is to ensure that changes in materials do not affect the quality of the cartoning machine.

(1) The PMM type cartoning machine is different from the suction cup type open box. It adopts the blade type open box method, and inserts the insert into the carton with the blade, which is relatively unaffected by the thin thickness and the light weight of the carton. The shape of the blade matches the size of the carton, and the process of opening the box also has a "shaping" effect on the carton. At the same time, the blade opens the carton by more than 90° to overcome the toughness of the transverse fibers of the carton, thereby converting the fibers from elastic deformation to plastic deformation, thereby effectively maintaining the shape after opening the box.

(2) The device for ensuring the quality of the carton on the PMM cartoning machine is a movable guiding mechanism (MOUTH PIECE): the size of the carton is suitable for the packaged product, which is the basic requirement of the zui. Since the product is pushed into the box during high-speed movement, the vibration of the device and the deformation of the carton may cause misalignment when the product is inserted into the box. If this happens, the product will be damaged, the carton will be damaged, and the device will be damaged in severe cases. Usually a good device is equipped to prevent this, and this movable guiding mechanism is added. When the inner bag is inserted into the box, it moves into the carton with the inner bag 3 to 5 mm, and after the inner bag enters the box, it exits the box. At the same time, the activity-oriented flap of this mechanism can also withstand the products in the box, in case the product is pushed back and bounced back out of the box. The use of such a guiding device ensures the reliability of the product into the box, thereby ensuring the quality of the box.

5.2 Development of the cartoning machine in combination with the complete packaging line

The cartoning machine is not only a kind of machinery that reduces labor intensity and production cost, but more importantly, it is a symbol of modern pharmaceutical production. By organically combining it with other packaging equipments in the future, it can truly become a downstream packaging production line. a branch. The pharmaceutical factory does not purchase a single cartoning machine, but a complete set of rear packaging production lines. This is an inevitable trend in pharmaceutical packaging in the future, and it is also an effective method for popularizing cartoning applications. Figure 2 shows the zui simple drug packaging line.

5.3 Development of medicinal cartoning machine from the multi-adaptability of inclusions

Here, an example of the multi-adaptability of the inner packaging of the Zhejiang Shenglei cartoning machine is inserted, that is, the plaster patch type packaging and packaging production line scheme. One of the problems with the carton packaging line is that the patch is thin and soft, making it difficult to complete the automatic feeding. In response to this particularity, Zhejiang Shenglei has developed a plaster packaging-type packaging and packaging production line, and its packaging process is shown in Figure 3. The production capacity of the whole line is 90 boxes/min, 5 pieces/box.

The single-machine module products consisting of plaster patch packaging and packaging production lines are mature, stable and reliable. The key point of the line: the automatic loading of the ointment box and the online ordering between the functional hosts need to work smoothly and stably, and the whole line is controlled by a reliable program.

Technical characteristics of ointment paste storage and carton loading machine: (1) Storage bin adopts the structure of reserve bin, and sets 5 labor replenishment bin storage bin according to carton loading (zui large 5 plate/box) (2) Using belts and cylinders to move intermittently to advance the material uninterruptedly; (3) Working principle of suction cups for reclaiming and discharging; (4) Configuring five suction cups for the rotary manipulator and simultaneously obtaining and discharging five ointments; (5) Packing and feeding belts are intermittently stepped; (6) The circulating working speed matched with the intermittent packing and feeding is carried out for printing, and each loading box of robots simultaneously completes the 5th version of suction and discharge; (7) The robot completes the feeding cycle of the boxing quantity every 5 times (according to the boxing quantity, when the loading amount is 4 times), (8) in the process of suction and release of the robot, the supply of the supply is realized. Electronic detection to ensure accurate supply; (9) According to the test results, the main control system can eliminate the non-conforming supply, manually recycle, and realize the box-free action when the paper is not supplied or the manual.

Technical features of labeling: (1) The selection of two types of support structure (ie, the device that presses the label on the object to be attached) is selected to meet the needs of different users: one is a top pressure support device with ample pressing force It can meet the immediate adhesion and flatness of the zui big label. The feature of this device is to ensure the stability of the box body when labeling, and greatly improve the labeling accuracy, especially for small boxes. The other is an electric propulsion device with fast speed and low noise; (2) with transparent protective cover, equipped with a safety lock switch to ensure the safety of the operator; (3) configuration with a printer/jet printer Simultaneously complete the coding and labeling, and can warn the status of the printing equipment; (4) The design effectively prevents the occurrence of problems such as missing stickers, misplaced stickers, and re-attachment caused by the label roll; (5) Image detection system It can realize automatic alarm or rejection when missing, wrong, re-sticking, and sticking; (6) Reserve input/output signals and interface, which can be used in conjunction with production lines to facilitate overall management of the production line.
